Coming to Downtown Sacramento on April 17, 2010... 
We are excited to bring a 5K/10K event back to Downtown
Sacramento. The courses will provide scenic views of the State Capitol,
Tower and I Street Bridges, Old Sacramento, the Sacramento River, and
Crocker Park. 
Along with breathtaking views along the course, this event will feature:
- Technical T-shirts: Provided at no extra cost to all 5K/10K entrants.
- Disposable chip timing for the 5K/10K - the chip is right on the bib - it's that simple!
- Post-race refreshments, music, vendor booths and a kid's play area
- Affordable entry fees
- Kid's FITZone Obstacle Course sponsored by FIT House
- Kid's Fun Runs and finisher's ribbons for all kids

The Capitol City Classic, in a partnership between the A Change of Pace Foundation and the Runnin' for Rhett Foundation,
will host 500 kids from Sacramento County in the 5K event. These kids
will have participated in a no-cost four week running program which
culminates with participation in the Capitol CIty Classic. A Change of
Pace is proud to be working with Runnin' for Rhett and to share the
mission of inspiring kids to get fit and maintain a healthy lifestyle.
